When Would be The Right Time To Teach A Child To Swim

When would be the right time to teach a child to swim? I ask some of my friends and most would suggest that babies as young as six months can already be enrolled in infant swim classes. Since they don't fear the water and maybe can even associate swimming with the secure feeling they had not too long ago inside their mother's womb. Don't be afraid that your baby might swallow water or drown. Like adults, they will instinctively know how to suspend breathing while underwater.

Sound simple though, but I would have Keona swim at an older age maybe four or five. Because as of now she's 2 years and 11 months old and during this age, they would be more difficult to teach and may scream or cry when released in the water.
